| About The Author John Reed served as an Army Intelligence officer at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Vietnam and other overseas postings. His first novel, Thirteen Mountain, was published in 1995. His poetry has appeared in numerous literary journals in the United States and Canada. He won the New England Review/Breadloaf Quarterlys Narrative Poetry Competition. Reed worked as a television producer for the University of California. He has been a radio announcer and a stand-up comic. John teaches fiction writing classes, workshops and seminars around the country. He has edited two anthologies of essays and short stories and operates Writers Welcome, an editing and critique service. He lives in Eugene, Oregon. |
